Milo and The Attachment

Milo wanders throughout the hall of Xandra's workplace. He gently strides into an empty staff lounge. There was three men. Two of which dressed similarly to Xandra's co-workers. One  was wearing glasses and the other was fidgeting with something in one of his hands. They both didn't notice the other one with dark hair and blue eyes.

   "Hello."

The man flinched. "Who-who are you...? And better yet, you can see me?"

Milo nods. "My name is Milo. And you?"

   "I... never gotten a name..."

"Oh... I know a friend that might know someone that can help you with that."

The other spirit giggles. He then glances over to one of the men.

   "Are you attached to him?"

"He... was a friend of mine... he promised to take me outside. He said he would do that soon... but..."

Milo pauses. He holds out his hand. "I have a something to show you."

He leads the spirit outside the building.

"It's beautiful, isn't it? This is what I was told that soon or someday would look like. A warm, sunny day with no clouds in the sky. A cool breeze--". He softly rubs his fingers across his  face. "gently crosses your face."

"We can't feel things anymore." says the spirit.

"That may be so, but we can still feel emotions."

Pretty, colorful flowers catches the spirits eyes. It was beautiful.

Milo watches the spirit fade away.
